The bottom module or entity group on the left navigation pane of Helix DMS is the Administration module accessible to users with administrative privelages.

Helix DMS Administration FeaturesThe administration module has 7 available options from the left navigation pane. These features are:

  • Entites: Allows administrators to control tables, forms, attributes, views, workflows, and more.
  • Modules: Manages entity groups that are available to join entities to and configure the left navigation pane.
  • Import/Export: Provides an interface for importing data and customizations as well as exporting data and customizations.
  • Users: The user grid allows administrators to create, activate, remove, and manage user records.
  • Roles: Roles define all the permission a role member can have within Helix DMS. Each user must be a member of a role.
  • Empty Recycle Bin: This purges all data in Helix DMS that has been marked as deleted. Items that have been marked as deleted can be viewed and restored from the individual entity records.
  • Master Settings: This section requires a computer account for authentication and allows the administrator to manage database connection strings and other global settings.
